Meeting of participating researchers and representatives from the field to mark the start of work

The afternoon provided an opportunity for researchers from the universities of Lüneburg and Basel to present the real-world lab concept. Participants in the Real-World Laboratory: Asylum Seekers were able to become better acquainted with the real-world lab concept, and gain better understanding of the obstacles and challenges associated with cooperation between research and practice. After having had the chance to get to know each other, the 40 representatives from the field of research and practice discussed the steps to be taken and the focus of investigations in each of  the sub-projects and overarching project to be launched in January 2016.
